Pensiunea El Monte Rucăr, situated in Săticul de Jos village, on Săticul de Sus street, no. 80 A - map. Capacity: max. 31 adults and 8 children in 13 accommodation spaces. Our guesthouse, El Monte, opened its doors in 2018 for nature lovers and those seeking a place to connect with nature and relax; for those who wish to savor a traditional soup, a warm homemade bread with family or friends... For those who want to spend traditional holidays, with live music, to break the Christmas pig's rind, to warm up with mulled wine with cinnamon, to dance a hora or a sarba with the hosts and other guests and to feel at home; like in a big family, where you say "good morning" sleepy and you are greeted with a smile... And a coffee. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, our rooms are decorated in a minimalist style, in accordance with the specific of the area. Our guesthouse is the only one in the area with owners who promote old recipes, inherited from family values, while also adapting to the modern comforts of today, offering gastronomic and wellness services: outdoor hot tub with hydro massage and multicolored lights, heated outdoor pool, solarium and soon, an infrared sauna. The guesthouse can accommodate 24 adults and 8 children in 8 rooms and 4 apartments, plus 6 adults and 1 child in the small villa with 3 bedrooms. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the guesthouse and for those who wish to prepare their own meals or just have a barbecue, we provide a two-level enclosed pavilion. The ground floor includes a barbecue, electric induction cooker, sink, fridge, dishes, tables, and on the first floor, two more fridges, tables and a toilet, which is an important benefit when there are 2 groups, each enjoying privacy. During the winter, the pavilion is heated. Both the pavilion and the villas have terraces. To pass the time, our guests can play board games, rent bicycles, fish in Lake Satic or choose from various hiking trails, the most popular being Grafita Pietrei Craiului, Valea lui Ivan or Marele Grohotis for the more experienced.
